This is a fantasy portrait of my friend Ariela :D who is also a great artisti, we decided to portrait each other in fantasy outfit!!
Since she is such a beautiful model, this went a bit more far than a game and I really put a great effort in this painting.

This is also being published as cover for the novel "Valeria", by Francesca Angelinelli

Actually, this was mostly an experiment in pushing photorealism as much as I can... I learned a lot from it, but I don't know if I'll do it again :XD: I think it's not so interesting if a painting looks too much like a photo. :P

...but I thought it was some medieval cosplay photograph in the thumbnail. I have been tricked. No fair. :frustrated:
