Faerie Blood

wah! it feels strange to show you my very latest work, I have many older pics that I still have to upload... well, their time will come, too.
Since the book's author is already showing the cover around the web, it felt stupid for me to wait.

ehm... ok, first things first.
I made this for a book, it's the illustration for the cover of M.P.Black's latest novel, a paranormal romance called "Brilliant - Ali di fata".
"Ali di fata" means "Faerie wings"; the main character of the novel, Victoria, discovers to have faerie blood in her veins. I don't know if there are actually wings involved in the story.
I just put some veil on her shirt that I hope can work as a light reminder to some wings, to underline the title, but actually since the title is already about magic and fairies, I didn't feel the need to put any strong fantasy element on the cover. It just had to give the right feeling.
Victoria is good looking and self confident, is red haired and her eyes are gold (quite the Cullen type ahah) and her skin is freckled.

For those of you who read in italian, the ebook is already on amazon! Yuhuu!
I haven't read the book yet (we were quite on a rush) so I can't give you my opinion, but the good thing about ebook is that you can download a preview for free and be your own judge.
A paperback version will come, and also the ebook on other stores.
